Working 9-5 is for suckers....like me
I'm sitting here at work. It's 4:08 pm and I'm agonizingly counting down the minutes until I can pick up my purse and keys, set my computer to "sleep," set the alarm and go home. And it's basically the exact same scenario everyday around this time. Usually even earlier actually. Some days I seriously contemplate walking out and never coming back. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate my job. I just get bored easily, I guess. Why do all of us have to sit inside all day long while the hot summer days are wasting away all by themselves? I think it's one of life's greatest tragedies. I have decided that one of my life goals will be to find a way that the economy can run without ANY 9-5 jobs. Until then, I guess I'll sit inside this air-conditioned office while my skin gets pasty-white, waiting for another Saturday to come....
